Charles Self's body was discovered slumped in his kitchen after a horrific knife

A FRESH bid is being made to crack the unsolved murder of a Glasgow man on the anniversary of his death.

He had been in Dublin city centre on a night out with friends at the now-closed Bartley Dunne’s bar and also the Hotpot Cafe on Burgh Quay and was last seen talking to two men on the quay before sharing a taxi home with a man believed to have been in his 20s. , hosted by Newstalk's court correspondent Frank Greaney, is re-examining the gruesome crime - and is asking anyone with any fresh information to come forward.Frank said: “What happened to Charles was truly horrific. The fact that it remains an unsolved murder makes it even more tragic. Charles’ story was crying out to be told and it was an honour to tell it. But it would be amazing if we could help solve this case and bring Charles’ killer to justice.
