A hugely popular TV channel has closed as it makes way for a new streaming service instead
An ITV channel has been cut from Freeview, Virgin Media and Sky after a drop in viewer numbers. ITV has shut down its CITV service, home to programmes such as Art Attack, Fraggle Rock and Horrid Henry for the past 40 years.
Although CITV is no longer available, there is another children's channel for younger viewers, reports MirrorOnline. ITV says that its ITVX kids online streaming platform is now the place to go for the latest shows, cartoons and entertainment. "The ITVX Kids homepage is accessible within child-safe ITVX kids profile on the ITVX app, offering more than 1,000 hours of programming," Freeview added.
