New: Francisco Oropesa, man accused in Cleveland mass shooting, apprehended, authorities say
Oropesa was taken into custody around 7 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

At a news conference Tuesday evening, San Jacinto County Sheriff Greg Capers confirmed that Oropesa was in custody. Capers called Oropesa a “coward” and thanked the public, saying authorities received tips from around Texas, Wyoming, Florida, Maryland and more.Email Address
