In their complaint, the company says that the Murdoch family"plays a central and public role in the managing and oversight of Fox News." chief legal officer and policy officer Ryan joined Fox Corporation's board in 2019 and he sent a message to Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch on Dec. 6, 2020, urging"solid pushback" to Trump's calls for an alternate slate of presidential electors, according to documents made public as part of the case.
