Seattle Fire Department (SFD) officials are investigating after another suspicious letter was sent to a local synagogue Monday evening.

No injuries or exposure was reported, but SFD HAZMAT crews were sent to the scene to ensure everyone's safety.that officials were sending a HAZMAT response to the 6500 block of 52nd Ave S., which is where the Sephardic Bikur Holim Congregation is located, for a report of a suspicious package. A representative from the congregation shared with KOMO News reporter Hannah Knowles they received an envelope with documents inside and a white, crystal-like substance.
