NEW: One person was killed and four others injured in a shooting in El Paso County early Sunday morning, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting happened just before 1 a.m. in the 12200 block of Point Reyes Drive, a subdivision in Falcon, to the northeast of Colorado Springs.
The shooting is not believed to be a random attack, Mynatt said, and “is likely linked” to a carjacking that happened Friday near Potter Drive.
