New photos of the Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince George have been released as part of The British Legion's 'Together at Christmas' initiative.
In the sweet series of pictures, the four generations of royal family - those first in the line of succession - are seen preparing special Christmas puddings, with Prince George stirring away enthusiastically. Their ages"represent a cross-section of those supported by the Legion, from the children of service personnel, to Second World War veterans," explains a post on the Kensington Palace Instagram account.
The charity's 'Together at Christmas' campaign is designed to provide extra support to the Armed Forces and veteran communities via annual festive gatherings across their network of outreach centres. The royal Christmas puddings will form part of 99 puddings distributed across the charity's network in the UK and the Commonwealth - marking the 99th year of the Royal British Legion - and will form the centrepieces of the next festive gatherings.
