With the help of Xbox Game Pass, Forza Motorsport saw, in some instances, roughly four times as many players on launch than previous entries into the series, according to our data.
With Forza Motorsport being the first game in the series to launch into Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, we can now see the true power of the subscription service in terms of player numbers, according to TrueAchievements data. Looking at TA player numbers, the most popular Forza Motorsport game on launch day prior to this launch was Forza Motorsport 3*, with 25,228 TA members jumping behind the wheel on the day it was released.
This is over three times higher than the number of day one players for Forza Motorsport 7, which had 26,979 tracked TA members playing the game when it too came out of early access . As for previous entries into the series, we see that Forza Motorsport had roughly four times as many players on comparative launch days as Forza Motorsport 5 and Forza Motorsport 6 and three times as many players than Forza Motorsport 3 .
