The eatery and club from Los Angeles-based restaurateur Ivan Kane has pivoted to pizza as
in January 2020. Forty Deuce was originally inspired by Ivan Kane's Hollywood and Las Vegas ventures, but the pizzeria has Kane going further back to his upbringing. "I grew up in New York. The name of this concept is 40 Deuce, which was a colloquialism for...42nd Street," he said."My family still lives in New York in the same apartment I grew up in. So New York is who I am."
