As part of Season Zero and in preparation for the launch of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4, Epic Games has reset every player’s Battle Royale and Zero Build rank in update v25.10. This reset won’t affect your Ranked Urgent Quest completion, although you may see a change in the appearance of your Burn Bright Emote to reflect your new rank., Epic Games noted that this reset “will be a test run of resetting ranks, as we would do during a Seasonal turnover, before we enter Chapter 4 Season 4 Ranked.
Alongside this, rather than everyone starting at the bottom and determining a player’s rank based on v25.10, Epic has placed players in varying ranks depending on the rank they had at the time of the reset. This is similar to how Ranked Season resets usually work.Twitter account noted, “We’re aware that players are not placed correctly after completing their first match after the Rank reset. We’ll let you know when we have more information.
