Emilia’s is a coastal Italian restaurant inside Fort Worth’s new Crescent Hotel.
The Crescent Hotel in Fort Worth opens Nov. 8, 2023, serving cocktails and coastal Italian food in its new resaturant, Emilia's. , opens Nov. 8, 2023. A restaurant within it, the small and refined The Blue Room, is expected to open later in the year.Because the hotel was built from the ground up, Paine’s kitchen is bigger than most he’s worked in, with a pasta room in the back and space to make gelato and focaccia. He has worked at Eleven Madison Park in New York City.
“You spend a day in these beautiful museums and you come back to the hotel — it’s just an extension of the experience,” says Jillian Lehmann, director of sales and marketing for the hotel.Diners sitting in some areas of the Emilia's dining room can look straight into the open kitchen. Grilled Spanish octopus comes with salsa verde and saffron aioli. Another starter, the burrata, has roasted tomato jam and basil oil and is served with house-made focaccia. Of course there’s beef tartare. Paine also added a vegetarian app, a beet carpaccio with salty ricotta and pumpkin seed brittle.
