's White House adviser, has said the legal case against him is costing him $1.7 million in fees—a staggering sum that's leading him to ask for more financial help from his supporters.

According to the indictment, Navarro was charged with one contempt count involving his refusal to appear for a deposition and another involving his refusal to produce documents, despite a subpoena from the Jan. 6 committee. Former Trump White House Advisor Peter Navarro on August 11, 2022, in Washington, D.C. In June 2023, a federal grand jury indicted Navarro for contempt of Congress after he refused to cooperate with the House Committee's investigation of the January 6 attack.The case is expected to go on trial next week in the U.S.
