Former U.S. President Barack Obama confirmed Sunday that he’s tested positive for COVID-19.
The nation’s first Black president announced the news on Twitter where he also confirmed that former First Lady Michelle Obama has tested negative.I just tested positive for COVID. I’ve had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise. Michelle and I are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted, and she has tested negative.March 13, 2022
“I just tested positive for COVID. I’ve had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise,” Obama said. “Michelle and I are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted, and she has tested negative. It’s a reminder to get vaccinated if you haven’t already, even as cases go down.” The Obama’s received their first COVID-19 vaccine doses in March 2021 and encouraged others to get the vaccine as well.
