Former paramedic ordered to stand trial on burglary, identity theft charges [Breaking]

A paramedic accused of breaking into a 90-year-old woman’s Rancho Bernardo home after responding to a medical emergency there the night before was ordered Thursday to stand trial on charges including burglary.

The next morning, she heard a noise then saw a man in her backyard remove a window screen. The window was locked, so he tried the glass sliding door. That’s when she confronted him, the testified.The man said he needed to get more information to complete a report, but she refused, so he left. According to prosecutors, an investigation stemming from the burglary allegations uncovered guns without serial numbers, drugs and patients’ medical records in Conniry’s possession.
