Pair leave Highland League side Brechin City to take over struggling Premiership outfit
Former Northern Ireland international Andy Kirk has joined St Johnstone as part of new boss Crag Levein's coaching panel.Kirk was an academy coach at Rangers and Hearts before managing the Jambos’ women’s team prior to his appointment at Brechin in 2021.City are currently second place in the Breedon Highland League after Kirk led them to the title last season.
“We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Craig Levein, who generously contributed his time and expertise to aid the club’s resurgence. It marks a return to football management for Levein who hasn't been back in the dugout since being sacked by Hearts in 2019, following a rough end to his time in Gorgie.
