O’Neill received two Silver Stars, four Bronze Stars and a Joint Service Commendation Medal during his service as a former SEAL Team 6 member, Dallas Morning News reported.“The Operator: Firing the Shots that Killed Osama bin Laden and My Years as a SEAL Team Warrior,”A year earlier, O’Neill had a DUI charge dropped in Montana. Dallas Morning News reports the charge stemmed from a prescription medication he was taking for a condition related to his time in service.
