As we all know, soapland is a small place and we regularly see acting talents switch between shows. It has been reported that Martha Cope, who played Sandy Gibson in the BBC soap, will soon be seen in Emmerdale.
The Sun is reporting the new casting. As reported by the publication, a source said: “Martha will appear later this year and kick off a huge storyline. She’s making a guest appearance but she has an unmatched soap pedigree, so she’s bound to impress fans.”It is thought Martha, 53, will play a relative of one of the current villagers. Away from EastEnders, Martha has appeared in Holby City and Vera.
