DALLAS — Former Dallas Stars forward Mike Ribeiro on April 13 was charged with two counts of sexual assault in Franklin County, Texas, according to theRibeiro – whose NHL career also included stints in Montreal, Phoenix, Washington and Nashville – is accused of assaulting two women on June 23, 2021, the report states. He was arrested on April 28 and freed on $200,000 bond.
This is not the first time Ribeiro, 42, has been accused of sexual assault. In 2021, he, along with his wife, was accused in a lawsuit of assaulting his former nanny. The lawsuit was settled out of court in 2017.
