Latest Nottingham Forest news from NottinghamshireLive as Middlesbrough manager Michael Carrick gives an injury update on Lewis O’Brien
O’Brien suffered an ankle injury playing for Middlesbrough against Watford in the Championship. Carrick immediately admitted he was “fearing the worst” for the 24-year-old midfielder, who joined Boro on a season-long loan this summer.
"It was a whack on his ankle/bottom of his shin bone. Fingers crossed it doesn’t end up being as bad as feared, but at the minute it doesn’t look too good."
