Ford Issues Trio Of New Recalls, This Time Affecting Maverick, Bronco And F-Chassis | Carscoops carscoops
Ford is recalling just over 5,000 vehicles over three different issues. Small numbers of 2021 and 2021, 2022 F-53 and F-59 chassis, and 2023 Mavericks are all involved. We’ll break down what to look for on each one and how Ford is planning to address the problems.
The first and smallest of the three recalls is for the F-53 and F-59 series of motorhome chassis thatsells. Of the 5,011 vehicles included in these recalls, just 644 relate to the F-53 and F-59. Still, it’s worth noting that they might be the most important as affected vehicles inside of this recall, number 23S11, may have loose rear brake caliper bolts. Dealers will inspect and tighten the bolts if need be. Ford says that it’ll mail owner notification letters by April 10th.
The second-largest segment of vehicles in this trio of recalls involves 1,651 Ford Broncos from 2021 and 2022. Affected units specifically feature and were previously a part of recall 22V-825. Evidently, these SUVs might suffer from a rearview camera image that continues to display on the screen after the “backing event has ended.”
