Ford halts F-150 Lightning production, shipments over battery issue.
The automaker did not release any further details on the potential issue or what exactly was discovered, but said in a statement an investigation is underway to get to the root of the problem. Production has been suspended since the beginning of last week, says Ford., adding the company is “doing the right thing by our customers” to resolve any potential issues before restarting deliveries.
