We have a powerful platform that we’ve successfully used as a force to promote systemic change, and this past week has highlighted our responsibility—and opportunity—in this area. Accordingly, we are moving forward with a new—every media channel, in every country we serve—to make sure everyone has a seat at the table and an equal chance to achieve success. It’s consistent with102-year mission to champion entrepreneurial capitalism as the best way to solve problems and create happiness.
We’re planning to start this new platform with six different initiatives, and grow and evolve from there.: We want to continue to listen, in an effort to highlight problems areas and paths forward.
It’s been a humbling but also hopeful week. The only bad outcome is the one you don’t learn from. In listening, I’ve learned a lot, as has our whole team, and that process will continue.
