Each week, they share their favorite hair rituals, products, and the biggest lessons they’ve learned when it comes to affirming their beauty and owning their unique hair texture.
You probably recognize the voice of Fana Hues from Tyler the Creator’s hit song, “Sweet / I Thought You Wanted to Dance.” “Knowing that he loved what I did with the track gave me such a confidence boost,” the 26-year-old singer-songwriter tellsabout her experience working with the Grammy-winning artist. But the Pasadena-born, Los Angeles-based artist is carving a lane of her own, one sultry song at a time.
[last July], I just thought it would be fun to do a little pop of color.” But her ultimate hair goal? “I used to watch”—the cartoon series that retold fairy tales with Black characters—“growing up, and I would watch Rapunzel.
