Sean Calvert, a talented former youth football star, 'fell by the wayside' and turned to dealing class A drugs.
A football starlet turned drug dealer has been arrested after being unmasked on the underground network EncroChat. Sean Calvert "fell by the wayside" after his dream of a professional career disappeared and he turned to dealing class A drugs.
The 'Sound Dill' account also sent a picture of a hand, which experts were able to use to identify him via his fingerprints. Calvert was found to have "worked alongside" 'EmuVest' to buy kilo quantities of class A drugs, which were broken down and sold at street level by others. Michael Scholes, defending, said: "Clearly, this is a young man who has gone in very much at the deep end. He has no illusions about what fate has in store for him.
Top UK & World stories today "He does not seek to suggest that this is a case where he was put under any pressure. He thought it was easy money. He was introduced to the game. The selling point for EncroChat was 'you will be invincible, no one will catch you'.
