Bridal salon Floravere teamed up with wedding website Over the Moon to toast summer wedding season with a cocktail party.
When asked how the recently engaged might begin to conceptualize ceremony and reception planning, they had some sage wisdom to offer: “We started Floravere for the modern bride, and I think the modern bride hasn’t been envisioning this day her whole life,” began Jin. “She doesn’t have a deep scrapbook of her vision, and so we get that a lot! One of my pieces of advice is just to draw inspiration from the broader world and everyday life.
Macon agreed: “I think that’s a real differentiator for Floravere and Over the Moon, and I think that’s why we came together in this event: because I feel that in our content, we’re not trying to be the old-school bridal magazines,” she said. “We’re trying to feel more of the moment and apply things in the larger, broader world that are happening right now to people that are planning their weddings.
