The National Weather Service in Flagstaff issued a flash flood warning in Coconino County north of Flagstaff until 3 p.m. Wednesday.

The Flagstaff office also issued a warning for central Mohave County east of Kingman until 5:30 p.m. The weather service said radar showed heavy rainfall in the area of Diamond M Ranch, Hackberry Road, and Knight Creek Road. While there are only four warnings as of 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, central and southern Arizona, as well as northern Arizona — save areas around Kingman and a stretch near the Utah border — are entirely covered by flash flood watches. Warnings are also popping up and changing quickly as the afternoon stretches on.
