The attack came on the Transgender Day of Remembrance
A gunman opened fire at Club Q on Saturday night, the Mirror reports. As well as the five fatalities, at least 18 people are believed to have been injured.
A bartender at the club, who goes by Michael Anderson on social media, told the Mirror of his horror after the shooting. He said: "I was afraid I was going to die. I was preparing to get shot, when the shots then stopped.
