Emergency services rushed to the incident near to Boreland on the B723, between Annan and Eskdalemuir.
A motorcyclist who died in a horror crash during a group ride on a rural Scots road has been named by police as Paul Armstrong.
Sadly, Paul could not be saved and he was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the collision. "I would appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident who may have any information to contact us. Any small piece of information could assist our enquiries as we piece together what has happened.”
