Neil Jolly was pronounced dead at the scene
A man who was found dead in an Aberdeen high rise flat in the early hours of Monday morning has been named as Neil Jolly.
Police were called to Marischal Court in the Castlegate area of the city at 1.20am on June 26 where the 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman was arrested and charged in connection with the death, and appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday. She cannot be named for legal reasons.
The woman appeared for a short hearing in private on petition. She faces a single allegation of murder and made no plea.Detective Inspector William Murdoch said: “Our thoughts are very much with Neil’s family and friends, as well as everyone else affected by his death.“Our investigation into this incident remains ongoing.”READ NEXT:
