PASSENGERS had to be evacuated from a bus in Clydebank yesterday after rocks were thrown at it.

It is understood that the 1B service had been travelling along this road when it came under attack.Transport bosses confirmed no one was injured during the incident.

A First Bus Glasgow spokesperson said: “We can confirm an incident took place on Chalmers Street in Clydebank shortly after 6pm on Tuesday, May 2, where rocks were thrown at the 1B service travelling along the road, smashing a window in the process. “We can confirm no one was injured in this incident and all passengers were safely evacuated from the bus."
