People in Lancashire want to see fireworks be banned from public sale - a LancsLive poll has revealed.
Last month we ran a poll asking people if they thought fireworks should be banned from public sale. More than 90% of those responding to the poll said they believed fireworks should not be sold to the general public. One reader said: "Every year we have to put up with antisocial behaviour, with fireworks going off day and night for weeks. Animals are scared to death and every year people are seriously injured.

However others said it was a shame to see the few people using fireworks in an antisocial manner spoiling it for the majority.
One reader commented: "To some people including myself, bonfire night is my Christmas, most people buy sensible, you always get youths getting them bought off inconsiderate adults, most shops won't sell to under 21." They added: "It's the best night of the year in my opinion, and to be honest I get woke up all year round by dogs barking, this only lasts a few weeks.
