NEW: Dozens of firefighters are responding to a blaze at an apartment complex in East Village.
Several residents were forced out of their homes early Wednesday following a fire at an apartment complex, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department .
The blaze was reported just before 4:30 a.m. on the 1400 block of Market Street. There, an apartment structure was on fire and prompted evacuations for the building and the one next door. It is unclear what started the blaze. Injuries were not immediately reported in connection with the incident.This article tagged under:
