Around 100 people are believed to be trapped on the roof of a Hong Kong sky scraper – with 200 more inside, after a major fire broke out.
At least one person has been injured at the World Trade Centre and sent to hospital, while reports suggest many more are stuck in other parts of the huge building.Police said about 100 people moved from a restaurant to a podium on the 39th floor roof when the fire broke out and smoke filled the dining area, according to local broadcaster RTHK.

An extendable ladder was used to rescue several people who were trapped on the lower floors of the building. The scene outside the World Trade Centre is said to be calm after firefighters cordoned off the area.
