Four fire engines were sent out
Four fire engines were called out to a fire at a derelict property on St Germain Street in Farnworth at around 4.30pm today .
Multiple fire engines remain at the scene this evening and residents are being urged to keep thier windows and doors closed and to avoid the area. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “At around 4.30pm today , fire crews were called to reports of a fire at a derelict property on St Germain Street, Farnworth. “Four Engines from Farnworth, Bolton Central and Atherton, and the turntable ladder from Bolton Central quickly attended the scene.
