Emergency crews were called to a block of high flats where Keal Crescent meets Great Western Road in Knightswood on Sunday. The alarm was raised at 1.30am.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service tackled a blaze at the scene, on the 13th floor which was unoccupied at the time. No other flats in the tower block were evacuated, according to the Daily Record. A force spokesperson said: "At around 1.35 am on Sunday, September 18 police attended a report of a fire on the 13th floor of a block of flats on Keal Crescent, Great Western Road, Knightswood, Glasgow. No one was in the flat at the time of the fire and no other flats required to be evacuated.The Daily Record contacted the SFRS for comment.
