Suzanne Henry, 54, was found at a house in Madeley on 1 May, before she died in hospital two days later.
Finn Henry, 21, of Madeley had denied murder, but admitted manslaughter during a hearing at Stafford Crown Court, on Monday. He was remanded in custody after the hearing and is due to be sentenced at Northampton Crown Court in February.Mrs Henry was found with fatal injuries at the house in Newcastle Road, Madeley.
