With the Manchester Christmas markets returning this year to mark the 25th anniversary of their arrival in the city, hotel prices are expected to rise alongside Christmas spirits.
With the centre of action once again being focused around the Piccadilly area, the Manchester Christmas market season that runs from Friday, November, 10 until December, 21 is expected to see thousands of visitors looking for places to eat, drink and be merry. To help you save a few extra pounds to spend on festive treats, we've rounded up some of the cheapest hotels in the city.
Some visitors who have already experienced the delights of the Britannia did say that they found the beds a little uncomfortable, but plenty of visitors also loved the location saying it was "perfect for a one-night stay." Shoppers should book quickly though, as prices as low as £14.50 per person, won't hang around for long.
