But visitors are being warned that they must bring a valid form of photographic ID and if the image in the ID does not resemble them, they will be refused entry.A challenge 25 policy will be in place across the festival, where guests will be asked to show ID if they look under 25. Photocopies of IDs will not be accepted, and it is a criminal offence to use false or borrowed IDs to gain entry to TRNSMT.
IDs will be subject to further security checks and TRNSMT staff reserve the right of refusal on the basis that you don’t resemble your ID or if they cannot verify that your ID is valid. A spokesperson said:"If we cannot easily and quickly validate a facial match between you and your ID, you will be directed out of the customer queues into an alternative process which could cause you a delay.and other partners to ensure this process is as robust as possible and fake ID will be confiscated and passed to the authorities.
