Fern presented This Morning alongside Phillip Schofield for seven years from 2002 until 2009
Former This Morning presenter Fern Britton appeared to ignore Phillip Schofield when she took to social media after his interviews about his affair with a younger colleague which saw him leave ITV.
Fern and Phillip are believed to have suffered a falling out after Fern left the show while Phil remained behind to co-host with Holly Willoughby. Taking to Twitter hours after the interview aired, however, Fern explained that she had been watching entertainment rather than tuning in to watch her former college face questions, The Mirror reports. She wrote on Twitter on Friday: "Just watched the final #TedLasso with cuppa in bed . Tears rolling down my face but such a smile in my heart. What a show what a cast what a story."
Referring to the Love Island host who took her own life in February 2020, he added: “I think I understand how Caroline Flack felt. He said he saw “nothing ahead” of him and he had to talk about his career in television “in the past tense”.
