Earlier this year, Huffman pleaded guilty to mail and honest services mail fraud after she was busted for paying $15,000 to up her daughter’s SAT score by approximately 400 points. Her attorneys had asked for a yearlong probation and 250 hours of community service, in addition to the $20,000 fine she has to pay, per her plea deal. Her attorneys wrote, “Ms. Huffman is deeply remorseful for her crime” in a 161-page memo, according to NBC News.
