The FBI has conducted a search of Joe Biden’s Delaware beach house after classified documents were recovered from another residence linked to the president
Delaware beach house after classified documents were recovered from two other properties linked to the president.
Mr Biden’s attorneys said earlier this month that they had searched the Rehoboth Beach residence and “no potential records were identified”. “The search today is a further step in a thorough and timely DOJ process we will continue to fully support and facilitate. We will have further information at the conclusion of today’s search.”The scandal has proved damaging for Mr Biden, who loudly decried former presidentlast August when an FBI raid of his Mar-a-Lago property in Florida turned up classified and top secret documents.
To date, around 12 classified documents have been recovered from Mr Biden’s various properties, discovered and reported by his own lawyers. There is no evidence that Mr Biden was aware of their location.
