Father of 2-year-old, Nadia Lee, charged with her murder after nearly two-month search, police say
Jyron Charles Lee, 26, was charged with the murder of his 22-year-old common-law wife, Nancy Reed, on Oct. 19. He is accused of putting Reed in a chokehold after an argument over the way she was disciplining one of their young daughters while at a hotel at 525 Bay Area Blvd.After charging Lee with Reed’s murder, Houston police learned the couple’s 2-year-old daughter, Nadia, was reported missing from the hotel Oct 18.
Police are searching for Nadia Lee, the 2-year-old daughter of a man accused of strangling his common-law wife to death Wednesday in a Houston hote.A nearly two-month-long search has not led to the discovery of Nadia’s body, Houston police and Texas EquuSearch said. Detectives determined Nadia had suffered injuries inflicted by Lee and was believed to have been killed on or about Oct. 16 at 331 South Richey St. in Pasadena.
Lee is being held at the Harris County Jail on a $250,000 bond with conditions that require a GPS ankle monitor and instructions to be released into a sheriff’s office re-entry program.
