BREAKING Southbound I-5 in Arlington is blocked by a fatal crash

ARLINGTON, Wash. — All lanes of southbound I-5 are blocked in the Arlington area after a fatal crash Wednesday morning.

Trooper Jacob Kennett said the crash near 228th Street involved a box truck and a construction attenuator truck.Though the crash is still being investigated, it appears the truck was setting up a lane closure for construction happening south of the crash scene, Kennett said.Chopper 7 is on its way to the scene.
