Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has issued an injury update ahead of his side's trip to face Championship leaders Leicester City on Friday evening
Daniel Farke has confirmed that Joe Rodon is should be available for Leeds United's trip to league leaders Leicester City on Friday night. The Tottenham Hotspur loanee was one of three question marks following the win over Huddersfield Town, but trained in full on Wednesday and should be available for Friday's match.
Rodon was taken off after 64 minutes against Huddersfield Town on Saturday, after pulling up when shielding a ball out of play. Summerville and Byram were then taken off on the hour mark of the 4-1 victory.Elsewhere, there was mixed news on the injury front, with one fresh issue, while one of Leeds' longer-term absentees is close to returning.
Farke also added that Junior Firpo, who was injured on the eve of the season is closing in on a return. "Junior Firpo after his long-term injury, he's been in team training for ten days," Farke said. "I think this week was good for him because it's been the proper training week, before it was just travelling.
Farke's final injury update was on Djed Spence, who should be back after the international break later this month.
