It's Fantasy Championship Week. Congrats to everyone who made it this far. My first piece of advice to anyone still alive in the playoffs is simple — keep doing what you're doing. Run your reps, follow your routines.
DENVER, CO - DECEMBER 11: Quarterback Patrick Mahomes #15 of the Kansas City Chiefs celebrates with fans after the game against the Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High on December 11, 2022 in Denver, Colorado. It’s Fantasy Championship Week. Congrats to everyone who made it this far. My first piece of advice to anyone still alive in the playoffs is simple — keep doing what you’re doing. Run your reps, follow your routines.
• The Titans are in a weird spot — they can still win the AFC South, but all that matters is their Week 18 game against Jacksonville. So the Titans, who have already listed Derrick Henry as doubtful, could easily pull back key personnel Thursday against Dallas. • The Patriots, Dolphins, Jets and Steelers are still alive, so they’ll be gunning to win. The Raiders are also alive, though they’ve decided to bench Derek Carr for Jarrett Stidham — with an eye towards moving on from Carr next year.
• The Vikings and Niners probably want to keep the foot on the gas, as the No. 2 seed is better than the No. 3 seed. If either team were to pull back, I don’t think we’d see it until next week.

Fantasy Football Fact or Fluke: Are these running backs trustworthy in championship week?As NFL teams arrive at their final starting rosters in late August or early September, fantasy players use that information as the blueprint for their draft strategy. These early lineups are almost too easily etched into our memories and can cause a lot of dissonances as the season wears on and real teams are forced to abandon their best-laid plans. The chaos created disrupts the fantasy season, leaving only those who are best equipped mentally to shift gears and find flexible new solutions still standing in December.
