A cafe which has received rave reviews since opening a year ago is planning to branch out into Nottingham city centre. The Sustainable Kitchen in Bingham specialises in top notch, nutritious plant-based food.
Rik, a Michelin-trained chef and registered nutritionist, said: "A fantastic opportunity has presented itself to bring our unique concept to Nottingham city centre. We have been offered the space by a generous customer who loves what we do."They plan to open the front of the property - previously offices - to begin with, replicating what they've been doing at Bingham, but eventually they hope to develop the back half into a full kitchen and an intimate restaurant in the evenings.
Due to an alleged dispute over opening hours with the landlord in Bingham, which the owners claim has led to legal costs, a £20,000 Go Fund Me appeal has been launched to set up the new premises.
