Certain VIP packages available cost more than £1,300 each
Fans scrambling to nab tickets to see Madonna in London have been left furious after the price for certain packages exceeded £1,000 per person. The 'Queen of Pop' has announced a new world tour, and will be performing a one-time London show at the O2 Arena on October 14.
At the start of the 9am pre-sale, prices were seen to start at £47.55 for standard tickets, with prices rising up to an eye watering £1,306.75 for chosen VIP packages. As the morning went on, the remaining available ticket prices were ranging from £93 up to £436.85 each as the more affordable ones were quickly nabbed.There were other packages available, including 'Legacy Members VIP Package' priced at £729.
However fans quickly took to social media to discuss the price of the tickets, after the cheaper options quickly sold out to those eligible for pre-sale bookings. Others were astonished by the price of the booking fees for some of the more expensive options, with one example showing a fee of £23.10 per person added to the £200 tickets.
@ukheather added: "I have wanted to see Madonna live for over 30 years. Missed my chance as a kid when she came to town. Now it is so expensive too. I really want to go though."
