Levan has opened its doors on Haydn Road
A family-run cafe has opened its doors in Nottingham with a different sort of food on the menu. Business partners Ibraheem Asif, 27, and Merve Akpinar, 37, have officially opened up their new cafe, Levan, in Sherwood.
“My construction partner is Turkish and his Turkish wife makes all the food and is also one of the partners. My mum makes the Pakistani food, it’s a bit of a cocktail of cultures.” “It feels like a massive relief first of all, everyone kept asking us when we were going to open, and what we were going to do. I’m very pleased with the feedback we’ve had so far and again a massive relief.
She shared her excitement about finally being open. She said: “It was great, we are excited. We have been planning to open for a long time and finally, we are ready to open and we are so excited.
