⛴️ Planned journeys by ferry have rocketed by 25% compared to this time last year as tourists try to avoid expected strike chaos at UK airports, according to one shipping company
Scores of flights have been cancelled as a result of the industrial action, which involves 1,400 Heathrow security officers and will last 10 days from today until Easter Sunday on 9 April.their bookings had soared by around 25 per cent on this time last year. They still had some space on ferries today, but the Port of Dover has warned of delays due to an expected higher volume of traffic.
