A false alarm at Humberside Airport resulted in the temporary detainment of two men and the prompt removal of passengers from a plane on Monday morning.
Humberside Police said the two men were temporarily detained in connection with a potential security breach occurring within the airport terminal.The remaining passengers reportedly left the plane and waited in the airport lounge before going back through security to be checked in again. Humberside Police said: “The issue was quickly resolved by officers who were able to establish that the suspected breach was in fact a false alarm.“There were no arrests or charges in connection with this matter.”
